Experimental Video with MAX/MSP/Jitter

Candidates will explore the art of Experimental Video Production and editing. They will begin by building a library of Video Clips that will be manipulated and processed using MAX/MSP/Jitter. They will then capture these manipulated videos and import them into Final Cut Pro to create a non-linear edited final piece. These pieces will ultimately become single-channel pieces for screening or multi channel for Installation. Artists and Theory will be discussed to further develop the students understanding of Video Art. Class Limit: 8
