Integration - Photoshop, After Effects and Final Cut Pro

This 4-week class combines lecture with hands-on instruction. Photoshop, After Effects and Final Cut Pro - learn how all these applications work together to create slick looking videos. Beginning and intermediate levels will gain valuable information from this workshop. You will learn to move competently through each program and navigate between them seamlessly. In Photoshop you will learn about layers, applying effects, manipulating photos, alpha channels, creating graphics from scratch, everything you need to know for the purpose of video editing. The workshop will explain how to import the graphics you create in Photoshop to After Effects and Final Cut Pro. In After Effects you will learn the basics of animation and how to apply transformation properties and visual effects. Finally you will learn how to export high quality files in After Effects and use them in the timeline of Final Cut Pro. This workshop is good for beginners or video professional looking to explore the possibilities of these post production tools. This is a project oriented workshop so come with your ideas and projects to work on or develop your ideas in the class. Pre-requisite: basic knowledge of Macintosh Computers Recommended. Course fee includes a total of 8 hours of independent lab time. Class Limit: 8
