Learn about the features of the Panasonic AG-HPX170 and create your own stunning HD video imagery. This class will provide an overview of the camera's basic features, as well as explore the process of a tapeless HD workflow. We'll discuss the various HD video formats supported by the HPX170, including 720 and 1080 resolutions, interlaced vs. progressive scan and pulldown vs. native frame rates. We'll also review features unique to the HPX170, such as its vectorscope/waveform monitor, HD-SDI out capabilities, variable frame rate recording and focus assist tools. Finally, we'll delve into the tapeless workflow of the Panasonic P2 card, demonstrating how to import video files, the structure of MXF files and recommended footage archiving processes. After completion of this certification, members can rent the Panasonic HPX170.
