This 4-week class combines lecture with hands-on learning in order to develop a solid foundation in Photoshop. This class will teach the student how to maneuver efficiently within the Photoshop Environment. You will learn how to work with layers, the toolbox, text, effects and filters. This class will also teach the fundamentals of color correction, resizing, scanning and saving appropriately for various media including web, print and video. The goal of the class is to provide a strong fundamental understanding of Photoshop so the student that completes the course can move fluidly within the application allowing them to focus on their creative vision. Adobe Photoshop skills are the staple foods for any mind interested in creating multi-media art. Adobe Photoshop will give you a key to opening many other Adobe products because they all use the same interface and tools to manipulate images. Pre-Requisites: Basic knowledge of Macintosh Computers. Course fee includes a total of 8 hours of independent lab time. Class taught in our computer lab where each student get their own workstation.
