In a time of major advances in digital media 911 Media Arts Center envisions a future where independent voices thrive in a society that fosters diversity, innovation and artistic excellence.

911 Media Arts Center is Washington State’s largest non-profit media arts organization, supporting the creative use of media in both communication and artistic expression. Our mission is to provide access to and promote participation in media arts. We believe everyone can and should have access to the tools of communication.

Each year 911 Seattle Media Arts Center recognizes promising new voices in the media arts with one of our coveted scholarships, offering the opportunity for an artist to learn from our instructors and further their studies in the media arts field.

Among our recent awardees is Margot Knight, whose arresting work has been featured internationally in magazines such as PHOTO France, EFX Art & Design, and Zoom. James Harris Gallery in Seattle has shown her work alongside media artist Gary Hill.

911 Media Arts Center hopes to increase these scholarship funds with the help of our generous donors. We envision a greater ability to serve more individuals from our community with additional scholarships, as well as a wider diversity of awards. Contact us at www.911media.org or 206-682-6552 for more information on how to contribute.
