A six day youth camp that explores the art of film from both sides of the camera! You will learn the basics of acting, history of film, video production and post production! In the first week, you will learn from the masters of film by viewing classic clips and see how camera angles, set design and music all play a role in telling a story. In the afternoon you will focus on basic acting exercises, a handful of theatre games and a lot of real talking about stories that mean something to us. The second week will be a primer on basic video production and post production with final cut pro. Each student will have a work station to edit with. You will learn how to use professional audio and video equipment and create a final project which will be screened at our summer Youth Festival August 26th! This class is intended to be for young adults 13-18 years of age. Class limit 8
