Web Skills at South Park

ages: 14-19 The summer program at South Park is underway, offering a Web Design Summer Skills Program. Students will learn HTML, web design, graphic design and Flash. Class will be held 4 days a week for 4 hours a day for 8 weeks. Students will have a final project to complete for a local non-profit or small business. Stipends of $599 per participant will be contingent on near perfect attendance and satisfactory completion of final project.
Students in this program worked toward creating their own websites and becoming more literate in the World Wide Web as creators, rather than just surfers.
