911 MAC Members Lens
UW Open Space 2100 Charrette

On February 3rd and 4th of 2006 the South Lake Union Armory was jumping with energy and ideas for 24 hours as 320 architects, urban planners, and community activists joined forces to create their vision for the next 100-year plan for Seattle's Open Spaces. Seven 911 MAC member filmmakers were on hand, wearing black 911 MAC T-shirts, to record the action with video cameras and microphones, tag-teaming each other from the opening speeches Friday morning to the final presentation and party held on the campus of the University of Washington Saturday evening. Next step: the UW Dept. of Landscape Architecture hopes to secure a grant to edit the footage for their website and for advocacy and educational purposes.
