Connect - Share - Support

Every 3rd Monday of every other Month

911 Media Arts Center welcomes local documentarians to our documentary community group DocuTalk@911. Every third Monday of every other month 911 provides an opportunity for documentarians to network, share knowledge, find feedback and mentoring opportunities, and gain support in the pursuit of their work. It's a potluck! Bring a dish and come prepared to be inspired and make connections with regional documentary filmmakers and all others who love the documentary format. Documentarians are welcome to present their work (finished or in-progress) and to gather supportive feedback.

Patrica Boiko, the producer of "The Corporal's Diary" -- Corporal Jonathan Santos, a funny 20-something, tells the unforgettable story of his 37 days in Iraq, not knowing day 38 would be the last. Through his video footage and his handwritten diary, we witness high explosives to clandestine home brew, meet his buddies, his gun and his personal totems of protection. His buddy, Private Drake survived, but with horrific consequences.
