BEST OF OPEN SCREENING
at The Rendezvous
2322 2nd Ave - Belltown
Curated by Greg DıElia and Kathy Ramos
Tuesday, December 10, 8pm
$1 (21 and over only sorry!)

Open Screening, the longest running video show in Seattle, is celebrating its 2002 season with a special "Best Of" show at the Rendezvous. For the last year, Greg and Kathy have hosted an open mic of video here at 911 on the second Monday of each month. During the shows theyıve been carefully selecting the most eye popping, show stopping videos. On Tuesday, December 10th, theyıll bring a selected stack-o-vids to the plush screening room at The Rendezvous Restaurant in Belltown (2322 2nd Ave). Staying true to the spirit of Open Screening, the first five video artists to bring videos (VHS only) will have their work presented along with the "Best Of." So come on down, give it a shot and then get yourself one from the bar.

SAM STAFF SHOW THEIR STUFF
Friday, December 13, 8pm
$5 / $3 (911 members)

The hard-working men and women of the Seattle Art Museum are an inspired group. Every day, theyıre in the presence of some of the best art in the world. Come quitting time, they go home with a paycheck in their hands and stimulating art lingering in their minds. Then, in the dark of night, they toil over their own works, creating narrative and experimental video art, humor, animation and film noir! Does all of that amazing art theyıre exposed to during the day influence their nocturnal creations? Maybe so. Find out for yourself as 911 welcomes SAM staff to show their stuff on the big screen. Work will include these shorts plus many others:
