911 Media Arts Center celebrates the completion of nine short documentaries
by student producers featured in the 4th installment of NEW VOICES.
Sponsored in part by the National Endowment for the Arts and KCTS, The
Public Network, this unique program offers emerging filmmakers the chance to
prepare short-form original work for PBS broadcast, all the while receiving
mentorship and critical feedback by leading local and national film
professionals.
This screening party caps months of production work and sweaty critique
sessions. At every step of the way, these students were held to the fire to
find compelling subjects and tell strong stories. Were the results worth it?
Come see for yourself. Showcased filmmakers and their projects include:

A quiz show couple supports their family over 30 years on the game show
