911 member's social presents:
Resident Artist Tudor Giurgru

Sunday, November 16th, 6-9 pm
911's quarterly member's social has been a great opportunity for media makers to connect with vibrant personalities and projects. Past events have presented 911 fiscally sponsorsed works, highlighted new equipment acquisitions and served as a forum for simply getting to know one another.
Please join us in November to celebrate an emerging aspect of this dynamic organization, resident artists! Romanian artist, Tudor Giurgiu will create at 911 for the fall of 97 as part of an ArtsLink residency grant. Concurrently, 911, The Henry Art Gallery and King County Arts Commission's "Digital Artists in Residency" program will be in full swing providing training and equipment access to local artists. All of this adds up for a very exciting evening as both a sneak preview of digital works in progress and a look at the new generation of Eastern European independent media.
