I Am Nobody, I Am Everybody

Last year, burgeoning documentarian and 911 Media pal Ryen Bartlett interviewed Benny, the local artist behind the stacks of delicately balanced rocks found on the streets of Fremont. Ryen’s documentary gives the viewer a chance to see the heart behind the sculptures – a sensitive portrayal of a public figure who is either misunderstood or admired.

Ryen’s piece won Best Documentary at the 2010 NFFTY Awards; as NFFTY starts rounding up submissions for 2011, we thought we’d bring Benny the Stonedancer out of the Vimeo archives one more time.
