Intern for Webseries

Ulterior Motive Productions, a local indie film company, is seeking a summer intern to help promote and produce a new science fiction webseries. Interns will be working with experienced film producers on a SAG production and will be expected to display both professionalism and a quirky sense of humor and fun. We’re a tight-knit team that welcomes newcomers. You will be responsible for production and marketing assistance, including research, merchandising, convention volunteerism, and social media geekiness. Applicants must demonstrate a modicum of pop culture knowledge and interest. Position begins immediately. 5-7 hours/week of work plus a 2-hour weekly meeting is expected. Embedded Documentary Videographer(s)

Videographer/editor or small videography team wanted to document The Long Walk, a socially-engaged, experiential art project organized by artist Susan Robb, where 50 people are led on a 4-day walk from Golden Gardens to Snoqualmie Falls via Regional Trail System. Eight commissioned artists, from Seattle and across US, will be creating interactive work along the way and with the group. The video will be used for 4Culture, King County Parks Department, and as documentation of the project and promo material for further iterations of the project. Production Assistant

Production Assistant with knowledge of lighting needed for non-profit short documentary on juvenile court-involved youth and the educational barriers they face. You will work with an experienced DP to set up lighting for interviews. First shoot date is May 10th, in Renton. Other potential shoot dates include May 14 and 15 and one day in the first week of June. Rate: $200/10-hour day, $100/5-hour day (maximum of four shooting days).
