Tina Aufiero
Friday May 30th: 8pm.

Tina Aufiero focuses her work in the observation of swans. The swan as a subject, object, metaphor, is a vehicle to make work that speaks to love, solitude, being, self and other.

She will speak about the influence and effect her studies at NYU and her involvement in creating a new undergraduate program, the Design and Technology Department at the Parsons The New School for Design, while finishing he MFA, had on her process as a visual artist. The use of computers, wireless camera, and some electronics has married the abstract concepts and the representational forms in her works.
