There is no medium more versatile than the DVD format. And there is no DVD-creation application more versatile than Apple's DVD Studio Pro. For artists and filmmakers looking to present, share, and distribute video, DVD offers an inexpensive and nearly universally supported format. In this two session course you will learn the basics of DVD creation and duplication, from video and audio encoding out of Final Cut Pro to creating your own menus, programming functionality and so much more. DVD Studio Pro affords you the opportunity to create discs that look and feel just like the ones you'd rent from the video store. And once you master the basics, the authoring process will become a walk in the park. Some basic knowledge of Final Cut Pro and Photoshop is helpful, but not required. Class limit: 8
