Hands on Animation Lab: Cut it Out! This cut out animation workshop will cover two dimensional collage animation. Using the Lunchbox Animation System, class participants will learn to manipulate cut paper, photographs, magazine text, fabric, beads, noodles, etc, for storytelling and creative expression. We will cover timing and movement techniques as well as the use of replacement animation and silhouette puppetry. Collage animation is fun and easy to get into. If a Monty Python animation sketch ever made you laugh, or a Lotte Reiniger silhouette animation ever made you swoon, this is the workshop for you! Included in this class is the use of 4 hours of animation time at 911 Media.

This class is open to all skill levels. No previous experience in drawing or film required. Class limit: 12
