This stop motion animation workshop will cover the basics of animation with clay, puppets, and other three-dimensional objects. Students explore character and puppet construction technique as well as use of camera and lighting for effective storytelling.
This class is open to young and old animators,
and all skill levels. Students recieve extra 4 hours of animation time at 911
with the Animation Lunchbox. (Tools you will learn to use inthe class.)

Brain Ainslie
Brian Ainslie is a Seattle native and a graduate of the Evergreen State College where he studied animation, theater and film production. With an extensive career as an Animation Technical Director in Hollywood, Brian has worked on The Simpsons, Family Guy, The Powerpuff Girls and hundreds of commercial projects. Brian has taught graduate animation students at USC in the art of digital animation production.His projects have received an Annie Award Nomination and The Interactive Design Award from Communications Arts Magazine. Brian is currently a member of the Local 15 Theater Union, and a freelance film maker.
