instructor - W. Jack Strain
member cost - $ 295
non member cost - $ 325
Are you one of those folks who has a couple of ideas brewing, maybe even done some work on your idea, but you don't have enough money?
This three-day intensive will cover the nuts and bolts of filmmaking on a shoestring.
You will learn the basics of video production using Final Cut Pro Studio, but this class is more about a few amazing tricks.
In the first weekend, you'll learn about making the most of the lenses you have to work with as well as lighting, blue screen, and general staging for filming.
There will be plenty of hands-on demonstrations and exercises. The second weekend, you will learn about non-linear editing and color correction.
This class intends to give you the skills and confidence to quit sitting on that great idea or screenplay and just get out there and do it. Oh, and yes you will be making your own work- that's the plan. One weekend intensive- and come back next weekend and work on your work.
