The format of this class combines lecture with hands-on.
Adobe Photoshop skills are the staple foods for any mind interested in creating multi-media art. This class will familiarize you with all the knowledge necessary to prepare images with the proper resolution, dimension, format and color mode for whatever project you are working on. You will also learn basic effects, scanning and color correction.
Learning Adobe Photoshop will give you a key to opening many other Adobe products because they all use the same interface and tools to manipulate images.
Pre-Requisites: Basic knowledge of Macintosh Computers Recommended

The photoshop class was awesome! The instructor was very informative,
patient, and helpful. The class moved at a good speed, and he made time to
answer students' individual questions. It was an excellent class, and I'm
very happy I took it!

Jen Domeier
Jen Domeier is a fanatic about the visual medium in an artistic and political sense. This mad passion began when she was trained as a lighting designer in theater and worked in a few night clubs as a sound engineer. Later in life, she became a Digital Video Research Specialist at Adobe Systems and stuck with it for many years, serving as the Support Lead for Adobe After Effects and Adobe Encore DVD. During the famous WTO protests in Seattle, she helped the Indymedia center as a videographer, capturing many colorful interviews and depictions of the art and creativity on the streets. Jen followed the Animation program at the Art Institute of Seattle and eventually went to work as a Production Art Lead for Screenlife Games, the makers of the DVD Trivia games, Sceneit? She has a passion for teaching and helping students explore the things they love.
