Bare Bones Podcasting offers a chance to learn the fundamental basic principles for creating audio files which can be shared via the internet to a small or wide audience. The course will cover every essential basic on how to make podcasts from audio editing to posting on the web. This course is designed for the average computer user who has an interest in the potential of audio as an expressive outlet to tell their story. Designed as a one day workshop, the student will leave 911 Media Arts Center with a CD of their first completed audio project. Class limit: 8

Steven Vroom hosts the podcast "Art Radio Seattle" a weekly round up of the Visual Arts News in seattle. He has taught the Henry Art Gallery how to podcast and co-produced their first "Art Cast". As an Art Historian and Curator, Steven has taught at many Universities and Colleges across the US including: Cornish College of the Arts, The University of the South, Knox College, St. Ambrose University, and The University of Iowa.
